A City for All!

Is a pre-festival strand engaging with 143 primary school pupils from five local class groups.

'A City for All!' used the design brief 'Design your own open city neighbourhood' to excite pupils to design and build their own neighbourhood. Following building explorations in May 2017, class groups worked with design professionals to build their designs and create models which were exhibited during the 'City for All' activity at the Museum of London on 22nd July.

The purpose of the pre-festival strand was to engage under-represented communities and children of non-traditional backgrounds in the Archikids Festival. With particular attention to neighbouring communities of City of London.

The 'A City for All' strand was supported by the City of London Corporation
