Open-City is London's leading architecture education charity (charity no 1072104). Our mandate is to ‘champion the value of well-designed places and spaces in making a liveable and vibrant city, and the role everyone plays within it’. As such, we aim to promote excellence in design quality and advocate for an inclusive and informed approach to the development of our city. We need your help to do this for the 2017 festival.

Festival Programming

Pre-festival School Workshops
Supporting local schools and hard-to-reach students through onsite workshops partnered with professionals.
• Sponsor 120 local children’s learning on design
• Involve staff and improve their engagement skills
• Fulfill direct and local community outreach

Activate Challenge
Inviting your staff to get creative and design and deliver a children’s activity as part of the festival weekend. In 2016 ADP Architects,Lipton Plant, PRP Architects, and Stanton Williams all 'activated' their teams and created some extraordinary workshops
• Support staff design and creativity skills
• Devise a bespoke company resource
• Opportunity for team-building
• Engage with 200 children and families
